1. About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the website egtgroups.com (the “website”) and apply to quotations issued and orders accepted by Expo Graphite Technology (“EGT”, “we”, “us”), a proprietorship with its place of business at Plot No. 109, Ecotech III, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201306, India (GSTIN 09LYBPS2183Q1ZD).

By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Where a written quotation, purchase order acceptance or signed agreement contains different terms, that document will prevail for that order.

2. Use of the website

You may use this website to learn about our products and services and to send enquiries. You agree not to misuse the website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, sending unsolicited bulk messages through our forms, or copying content for commercial use without our written permission.

3. Product information and specifications

Product descriptions, dimensions, densities, temperatures and other values shown on this website are typical values given for general information. Drawings of products are illustrations and may not represent the exact appearance of a product. The specification that applies to your order is the one confirmed in our quotation or order acceptance.

It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm that the selected grade, material and design are suitable for their application.

4. Quotations and orders

• Quotations are valid for the period stated on them, or 15 days from the date of issue if no period is stated.
• An order is binding only when we confirm it in writing, by email or by issuing a proforma invoice.
• Prices are based on the drawing, material, quantity and delivery terms in the enquiry. Changes to any of these may change the price and delivery date.
• Orders for custom-machined parts, moulds, dies and fixtures cannot be cancelled once material has been cut or machining has started, unless we agree in writing.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

Unless stated otherwise, prices are in Indian Rupees, exclusive of GST, freight, packing, insurance and any other duties, which will be charged as applicable. Payment terms are as stated in the quotation. For export orders, prices, currency, Incoterms and payment method (such as advance payment or letter of credit) are agreed in the quotation.

We may withhold dispatch of goods until overdue amounts are paid.

6. Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith. We will inform you promptly of any expected delay. We are not liable for losses caused by delays arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, power or transport disruption, strikes, government action or delays in supply of raw material.

Unless agreed otherwise, risk in the goods passes to you when they are handed to the carrier or collected from our premises.

7. Inspection and acceptance

Please inspect goods on receipt. Any shortage, transit damage or dimensional non-conformity must be reported in writing within 7 days of receipt, with photographs and your inspection details. Where we supply a CMM or inspection report, it records the dimensions measured at our facility before dispatch.

Goods that have been used, modified, re-machined or damaged after delivery cannot be accepted as non-conforming.

8. Warranty and limitation of liability

We warrant that goods will conform to the confirmed specification at the time of dispatch. If goods are found to be non-conforming and reported as described above, we will, at our option, rework, replace or refund the price of the affected goods. This is your sole remedy for non-conforming goods.

Graphite electrodes, crucibles, heaters and similar products are consumables that wear in use; normal wear is not a defect. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of production, profit or business, and our total liability for any order will not exceed the price paid for that order.

9. Drawings, designs and confidentiality

Drawings, 3D models and samples you share with us remain your property and are used only to quote for and complete your order. We treat them as confidential and do not share them with third parties, except with service providers who need them to complete your order.

Designs, drawings and tooling concepts created by EGT remain our intellectual property until paid for in full, unless agreed otherwise in writing. You confirm that the drawings you provide do not infringe the rights of any third party.

10. Intellectual property of the website

The content of this website, including text, photographs, illustrations and the EGT name and logo, is owned by or licensed to Expo Graphite Technology. You may not reproduce it without our written permission, except for viewing and printing pages for your own reference.

11. Third-party links and embedded content

This website contains an embedded Google Map and links to other websites such as our IndiaMART listing. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them, from use of this website or from an order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar (Greater Noida), Uttar Pradesh.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with its effective date, applies to your use of the website and to orders accepted after that date.
